All instructions are followed as per cut of meat. I prefer mostly ground meat, steak and for pot/chuck roasts and prime ribs. The meat is excellent! My husband loves steak dinner!

This was our first time ordering a meat share. We purchased half a share of beef and half a share of pork. The process was so easy. Ordering online was a breeze. When it was time to decide on cuts, the butchers called and were so kind as they walked me through it (I know next to nothing about cuts). Pickup was easy: I drove out to the ranch and was back on the road in minutes. The meat is the most delicious meat I have tasted. We are a family of 6 and everyone agrees that it is fantastic. We will never go back to purchasing meat at the supermarket. All I have to do is shop my freezer and put my meat selection in the fridge to thaw. Buying meat shares was one of the best decisions we've made.

Today we're celebrating the golden paintbrush, and its official removal from the federal list of endangered and threatened plants. We played one small part in the propagation of the golden paintbrush as part of the Western SARE project, which established golden paintbrush on native prairie habitat at Colvin Ranch.

Steak frites is our favorite steak and potatoes meal. Our ranch-style version features crispy potato wedges baked in the oven, and an herb-butter compound to top off the steaks. Use a rib steak or top sirloin steak, and whatever herbs you have on hand for the butter.

London Broil is a method of cooking a lean, thick steak. Cooking is quick and easy, and the end result is tender and flavorful. You just need to plan ahead to marinate the steak. Traditionally, a London Broil is cooked by broiling in the oven, but we like to grill or sear it in a cast iron pan instead.
